Scrivani Racing is based out of Mike Jarret’s shop in Massachusetts. The team runs Beast Chassis with Ford Focus Engines, and Carrie’s the legendary #21 that has been a staple in the NEMA with the Scrivani Family for many years. The team’s full time driver, Joey Bailey out of New York City, runs the full NEMA Lites schedule as well as TQ Midgets with Lenny & Donna Boyd’s #1B in ATQMRA and The Indoor Auto Racing Championship. Lenny Boyd is heavily involved in the Scrivani team along with his own TQ program. Joey’s father, Russ, was a racer himself racing TQ Midgets in the early late 90’s and early 2000’s. He has been along Joey’s side ever since he first stepped into a race car.
Joey Bailey began racing quarter midgets in 2005 at the age of 7. In 2013 he began racing TQ Midgets with the ATQMRA, earning Rookie of the Year Honors that season. Bailey earned his first ATQMRA Championship in 2019 driving for Alan Mollet. In 2020, he joined Lenny & Donna Boyd’s #1B TQ Midget as well as expanding his racing schedule, debuting in Mike Scrivani’s #21 NEMA Lite. After winning the 2021 ATQMRA Championship, Bailey joined Scrivani Racing full time in 2022. Picking up multiple wins en route to a 2nd place Championship run. The team heads into 2023 aiming for one spot better.
