We can not thank Mema and Poppy enough for all they do for not only our race team but our family. You have always been there for us whenever we needed anything. We love seeing the joy on your faces as you cheer Dylan on. None of this would be possible without your support. We love you with all of our heart!!!!
REDline Motorsports was founded in 2012 as a start up Quarter Midget team. We are a family owned & operated team based out of Griswold, CT. We began racing quarter midgets at Silver City Quarter Midget Club in Meriden, CT. Our team not only has a passion for racing but also for family.
The team’s name was derived from the initials of our family. Ron, Erica, & Dylan are the reason the R.E.&D. are capitalized in our team’s name & redline being a term often referred to in racing. We raced quarter midgets for 9 seasons, not only at Silver City but at other tracks as well, including Little T in Thompson, Ct., Wall NJ., Oaklane & Honeybrook in PA. We traveled to Darlington, Sc. in 2019 to compete in the USAC national event.
In 2020 we began the transition to other forms of racing by participating in the rookie development program with the Northeastern Midget Association, NEMA. We fielded a 2006 Hawk Chassis powered by a Ford Focus engine in two NEMA Lite events in 2020 at Star Speedway in Epping NH. Our team moved to the NEMA Lite division full time in 2021.
Our rookie year in the division proved to be very successful winning heat races at Star Speedway & The New London Waterford Speedbowl as well as a season best finish of 3rd place at the Star Classic. The team finished 10th in car owner points despite missing two events due to scheduling conflicts.
Dylan began racing quarter midgets at the age of 5 years old. Dylan was introduced to quarter midgets while attending a car show in 2012. He was invited to sit in one of the race cars being displayed by Silver City Quarter Midgets. We signed him up for an "arrive and drive" the following week and the rest is history.
Dylan raced under the Quarter Midgets of America sanctioning body at Silver City for 7 seasons before retiring in 2018 and moving to Little T Speedway and USAC. He retired from quarter midgets at the conclusion of the 2020 season. During his 9 years in quarter midgets, he won races at Little T, Silver City, Wall, NJ, & Oaklane, PA.
2021 was Dylan’s rookie year racing with NEMA competing in the NEMA Lite division. He won 2 heat races and a career best finish of 3rd and finished 10th in driver points having raced in only 15 of 17 events.
The highlight of the season was being awarded the Pat Thibodeau Youth & Determination Award by NEMA. Dylan has always been compassionate and often uses his racing to raise money for charity. He has been part of Racing to Cure Cancer foundation and has also contributed to The Victory Junction Camp.
Dylan is a student at Norwich Technical High School and is enrolled in Automotive Technology. Outside of racing Dylan enjoys playing basketball, running track, & honing his racing skills on I-Racing.
