Derek Robbie
Racing: a career, a hobby, a lifelong pursuit
Derek works for Speedway Illustrated Magazine which allows him to work in racing, as well as enjoy it as a hobby.
He has a dog named Ivy (below, left) and loves running. Derek ran the 10K and 5K for Franklin Pierce University.
All About Derek
Derek started racing when he was 8 years old in Quarter midgets. He has raced Mirco sprints, Pro 4 modifieds, Mini Stocks, Tour Modifieds, TQ midgets, and is excited for my first year with a NEMA midget. Robbie is the 2013 Pro4 Limited Sportsman Champion - The youngest Champion in Series history at the time. HIs favorite track has got to be Seekonk Speedway!
A1 Lasting Legacy
Derek is driving the famed A1 owned by Jeff and Mike Horn. The A1 is a number used by NEMA racing legend Jeff Horn. The number has a lot of history and Derek is proud to be driving it.
