Chris Vose

Logging Miles to Chase a Dream

With no track on the current schedule within 130 miles of his hometown of Gloversville, NY Chris Vose and the Vosey Motorsports Nema Lite team is no stranger to logging miles across New England highways and back roads while they chase success within the oldest pavement midget touring series in the country.  Chris Vose was always enamored by race cars growing up and dreamed of getting an opportunity to drive one himself.  When the opportunity presented itself to try and break into the one of the most prestigious short track touring series as a first generation driver he jumped at the chance.  Ever since he has been trying to establish himself as he competes against some of the best pavement midget drivers in the country.

Driving History

Chris Vose started racing with NEMA in 2016.  He is the owner/driver of the #3 Nema Lite car out of Gloversville, NY.  He is the recipient of the 2020-2021 Ray Roberts Memorial Award, the 2021 Shane Hammond Memorial Award, and the 2022 NEMA associate members "Never Say Die" Award.  He got his start in racing as a crew member for Otto Sitterly and the John Nicotra Racing supermodified team competing at the Oswego Speedway.  He currently serves as the City Engineer for the City of Johnstown in New York.

NEMA Lites #3

The #3 Nema Lite car is a Beast Car with a Ford Focus powerplant.  Vosey Motorsports is a completely self funded operation and is always willing to discuss potential marketing opportunities!!  Along with the driver the crew consists of Chris Vose (father) and Cindy Vose.
